Holy cow, it's finally finished! I'm very happy with how my first rug commission turned out. This one is 18" x 18".

After tying all 4900 knots, I carefully bound the edges with wool yarn, then hand-stitched wool felt as a backing. An extremely labor intensive project, but it was awesome to see the buyer's joy when she received it!

I love the simplicity and the alien/secret code quality of livestock brands.


I made my own, though I doubt I'll ever put it on any livestock....BUT if the geneticists ever create a giant happy cute bird, then I'll think about it.

I never thought your birds looked like Peeps before...but this one does a little...maybe it's the pink color or because it's almost Easter!
